LYKENS • Cynthia E. Kasper, of Lykens, Pa., passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, Harrisburg, Pa. Cynthia was born May 15, 1950, in Elizabethville, Pa., to the late Clarence E. and Mildred M. Weaver Shoop. She worked for many years at the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, was a social member of both Wiconisco Fire Co. and Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 of Lykens. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening and spending time with her great-grandson. Cynthia is survived by a son, Tim Shoop; a daughter, Bridget Shoop; stepson, Steven Kasper; brothers: Paul, Clifford and Cletus Shoop; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale A. Kasper; and a stepbrother, Larry Klinger. Graveside services will be held Monday, June 17, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
