Craig E. Underkoffler
MILLERSBURG • Craig E. Underkoffler, 79, of Millersburg, died May 22 at Carolyn’s Hospice House, Harrisburg.
Born May 1, 1941, in Tower City, he was a son of the late Harvey and Mattie Hand Underkoffler.
He was a graduate of the former Porter Tower High School. He was a U.S. Army Reserve veteran.
He was a scheduler for TYCO for more than 30 years. After retirement, he worked as a machine operator for several years.
He was a member of Millersburg Assembly of God. He was a former member of the Porter Tower Recreation Committee, a former member and secretary of the Tower City Moose, and also a former coach for the Porter Tower Little League.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Lloyd, Paul, Fred and Earl, six sisters, Ruth, Thelma, Rachel, Kay, Marie and Merle.
Surviving are a son, Matt Underkoffler of Tower City; two daughters, Kori Bell of Millersburg and Amy Welsh of Greenville, N.C.; six grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
He will be laid to rest privately at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations in his memory can be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg PA 17110.
