BERRYSBURG • Clark B. Bowman, age 85, of Berrysburg passed away Feb. 1, 2019, at home with family by his side. He was born Jan. 29, 1934, in Sacramento, Pa., son of the late Tyson and Bertha Bowman. Clark was the husband of Marie Bowman, to whom he was married for 63 years. He retired as an auto detailer from Engle-Rissinger, formerly Witmer Motors, of Millersburg. Clark was a member of Peace United Church of Christ in Berrysburg. He enjoyed working with his hands and spending time at home with his family. In addition to his wife, Clark is survived by his three children, Karen Alexander (Richard) of Hendersonville, N.C., Mark Bowman (Ann) of Hegins, and Cindy Snyder (Buzzy) of Hegins; five grandchildren, Tawnya Bowman, Mark T. Bowman, Bethanny Shaffer (Nolan), Troy Snyder (Heather) and Travis Snyder; and five great-grandchildren Tianna, Daniel, Brooks, Lexi and Cassi. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 30 from 10-11 a.m. at Peace U.C.C. in Berrysburg. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Wagner officiating. Inurnment will be at Sweitzer’s Cemetery in Berrysburg at the convenience of the family.
