Charles Edward Buffington
HALIFAX • Charles Edward Buffington, age 55, of Elmer Ave., died June 12, 2020, at The Gardens at Blue Ridge, Harrisburg. He was born Oct. 17, 1964, a son of Ronald Buffington, Halifax, and the late Susan (Schwalm) Buffington. He was the husband of Christine (Weaver) Buffington of Middletown. He is also survived by his two daughters, Tonita Sikorsky of Louisiana and Chantel (Joseph) Farrone of Ashland; step-daughter, Kassondra Miller of Berrysburg; his grandchildren, Anthony Adams Jr., Naomi Sikorsky, Serray Sikorsky, Savanah Farrone, Joseph R. Farrone and AaLyiah Miller; a brother, Brian (Dana) Buffington of Halifax and two nephews, Jordan Lentz and Kaden Buffington. He enjoyed sports and was a former softball coach for Halifax High School, Susquehanna Slam and PA Alley Cats, and a former football coach for the Halifax midget league. He was a New York Yankees fan and Miami Dolphins fan. He enjoyed motorcycles and was one of the regulars at Denny’s Lennie’s. He was a member of the Halifax United Methodist Church. He was also a devoted grandfather who loved spending time with his grandchildren. There will be a private graveside funeral at Millers Church Cemetery at the family’s convenience.
