GRATZ • Carolyn M. Witmer, 91, died Dec. 21 at her residence. She was born June 11, 1928. She graduated from Pottsville School of Nursing in 1949. In 1950 she began her school nursing career at Millersburg School District where she retired after 43 years. She was a member of Simeon Lutheran Church and Red Hats. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Elwood Witmer; two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by four adopted grandchildren.
