KLINGERSTOWN • Carol Jean Brown, 64, died Dec. 16 at her residence. She was born Aug. 31, 1954, in Urban, a daughter of Betty Snyder of Urban and the late Clarence Snyder. She was a 1974 graduate of Line Mountain High School. She was a production worker at Sterman Masser Potato Farms, Sacramento, for almost 30 years. She was preceded in death by a brother Merley Snyder. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Brown; two sons, John Brown and Wesley Brown, both of Klingerstown; a daughter, Pam Martz of Herndon; seven grandchildren; three brothers: Rodney, Rusty and Todd Snyder; and three sisters, Wanda Maurer, Donna Schreffler and Elaine Neumeister. Services were held Dec. 21 at Salem Church of Rough and Ready, Klingerstown. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax. The Stephen R.
