BREAKING NEWS Homicide suspect apprehended
State police at Lykens announced this morning (Oct. 10) that Michael P. Leary, wanted in the March death of Millersburg resident Dominique G. Giordano, was apprehended in New Mexico Wednesday.
At this time, Leary is being extradited to Pennsylvania to answer to criminal homicide and other charges. He was apprehended by officers with the Albuquerque (N.M.) Police Department.
Leary, 43, allegedly contributed to Giordano’s March 24 death and also delayed 911 reporting, altered the crime scene, tried to destroy physical evidence and erased text-based communications on the victim’s cell phone before police arrived at the scene, according to the initial police report.
Three additional suspects are facing charges in connection with Giordano’s death at a residence in the 100 block of Union Street in Millersburg.
