BERRYSBURG • Boyce E. Warner, age 85, passed away July 4, 2019, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 26, 1934, in Berrysburg, son of the late Marlin and Pauline (Weaver) Warner and stepson of the late J. Carl Zimmerman. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for KimBob Inc., Harrisburg. Boyce was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, Berrysburg, where he served as elder, deacon, past president of the consistory and as choir director. He was a member of the Millersburg F&AM Susquehanna Lodge No. 364, Tall Cedars; Berrysburg Rod and Gun Club; Berrysburg Municipal Authority; International Union for Operating Engineers No. 542 for 60 years; and a life member of the Berrysburg Fire Co. He served as mayor and president of the Berrysburg Borough Council and also was a member of the Berrysburg Band, where he served as its band director. He was a former president of the Berrysburg Mustang Riding Club. Boyce enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Boyce is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lois J. (Witmer) Warner; his children: Wanda (Albert) Mauser, Mifflin Twp.; Gail (Randy) Seiler, Berrysburg; Marlin (Wendy) Warner, Berrysburg; and Penny (Kerry) Straub, Berrysburg; sister, Julia Kramer, Wiconisco; grandchildren, Kurtis Seiler (companion Tracy Wertz); Ryan (Tamara) Seiler; Alicia (Michael) Bettis; Kyle (Anna) Warner; Ashley (Jesse) Snyder; Adam Straub, (fiancé, Alyssa Troutman); and great-grandchildren: Carson Seiler, Jason Seiler, Gracie and Jackson Bettis, Eleanor Warner and Harper Snyder. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Miller; and step-brother, Richard Zimmerman. There will be a visitation at his church Wednesday, July 10, 2019, from 9-10:45 a.m. Masonic services will begin at 10:45 a.m. and religious services will start at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Sweitzers Memorial Cemetery, Berrysburg, following the service.
