MILLERSBURG • Betty M. Fulkroad, 92, of Millersburg, died March 2, 2021, at home. She was born Aug. 26, 1928, in Millersburg, Pa., the daughter of the late Paul Bonawitz Sr. and Dorothy (Schwalm) Bonawitz. Betty was married to Bernard “Perk” Fulkroad for 40 years. She worked as a homemaker all her life, and for many years was a babysitter, and assisted with the bookkeeping for the family business. She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church, Rife. She belonged to the Millersburg Legion Ladies Auxillary, and the Women’s Bowling League in Millersburg. She is survived by her daughters, Connie Espeland of Millersburg and Dianna Helt and her husband Russ of Millersburg; son Steven Fulkroad of Millersburg; grandchildren, Tracy Markham and her husband Kelly, Kelly Shomper and her husband Keith, Angela Nazworth and her husband Napp, Matthew Helt, Maranda Morrison and her husband Shane, and JeanAnn Bednar and her husband Nate; great-grandchildren, Sean, Kaitlin, Brooke, Xylie, Zayden, Jack, Brynley, Madalyn and Maci. She also is survived by a sister, Doris Glace, and a brother, Dale Bonawitz. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Marie Fetterolf, Virginia Matt, and brothers Russell, Paul Jr., Elmer, Bill and Robert Bonawitz. Graveside services at Riverview Memorial Gardens were Friday, March 5, 2021. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way Suite 270, Harrisburg PA 17110.
