Betty M. Boyer

MILLERSBURG • Betty M. Boyer, age 88, of Millersburg, passed away peacefully July 1, 2019, at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. Betty was born in Gratz, the daughter of the late Fred and Maude Goodman Hopple. She also was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles J. Boyer; a grandson, Adam Klinger; and a brother, Robert Hopple. She had worked at the former Dor-Mar Manufacturing in Gratz; Gladys Rearig Draperies; and Maiden’s Fabric Wheel in Millersburg. She was also a self-employed creative seamstress. Betty was a lifelong member of David’s Community Bible Church in Killinger. She was head of the church’s kitchen for special dinners and events for more than 20 years. She also was a member of the sewing circle at the church. Surviving are her husband, Lee Feidt; her five children: Vaughn Boyer (Mary Ann), Bonnie Klinger (Brad), Bradley Boyer (Gay), Gina Wetzel (Rick) and Tina Roadcap (John); a stepson, Jeff Feidt (Amy); a brother, Donald Hopple; a sister, Darlene Spicher; 13 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters. Services were held July 8 at David’s Community Bible Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to David’s Community Bible Church, 1072 Route 25, Millersburg, PA 17061. Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd. in Millersburg handled the arrangements.
