TREMONT • Betty M. Blyler, 94, formerly of Hegins, died Dec. 15, at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 26, 1924, in Klingerstown, a daughter of the late Harry and Daisy Stiely Wehry. She was a 1942 graduate of the former Hegins Twp. High School. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Blyler Sr.; a daughter, Nancy Blyler Thornton; and a brother, William Wehry. She is survived by a son, Joseph Blyler Jr. of Valley View; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services were held Dec. 23 at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View.
