MILLERSBURG • Betty M. Baker, 89, of Millersburg, Pa., died Nov. 8, 2020, at Premier at Susquehanna Village. She was born Aug. 29, 1931, in Millersburg, the daughter of the late Calvin and Mary (Erb) Maxwell. Betty was married to the late Robert J. Baker for 53 years. She retired as a clerk from the former Johnson-Baillie Shoe Co., Millersburg. Betty was a life-long member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Millersburg, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the adult choir. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 5507. She loved playing cards and games with her family and her friends. She enjoyed watching the Phillies, Eagles and Nittany Lions. Her most favorite thing in life was spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Bruce Baker and his wife Jody of Millersburg, Brad Baker and his wife Kathy of Tower City, Brian Baker and his wife Amy of Millersburg; grandchildren, Scott Baker, Kristin Baker, Alex Poling, Kayla Brennan and Ashton Baker; and great-grandchildren, Skyler Smith, Connor Poling, Emma Keightley and Lily Brennan. Funeral services were held Nov. 14, 2020, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Millersburg. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
