Betty Leitzel

GRATZ • Betty Marie (Reed) Leitzel, aged 94 years, formerly of Gratz, passed away Aug. 1, 2021, at Gardens at West Shore Nursing Home, Camp Hill. She was born Nov. 6, 1926, the daughter of the late Albert R. Reed and Laura E. (Troutman) Reed of Lykens, R.D. Betty was the widow of the late Ray L. Leitzel. They had three children, Connie (James) Shaffer of Mechanicsburg, Rod (Sue) Leitzel of Huntingdon, and Rick Leitzel of Rupert, Idaho. She is survived by her sisters Lucille (Reed) Leer of Dillsburg and MaryAnne (Reed) Fetterhoff of Halifax. Betty had four grandchildren and six great-grand children.
