MILLERSBURG • Beatrice “Bea” Filek Row, 84, passed away Nov. 3, 2020, at Lancaster General Hospital. She was a resident of the Masonic Home, Elizabethtown, Pa., and formerly of Lady Lake, Fla., and formerly of Millersburg, Pa. Born Nov. 5, 1935, in Pittsburgh, Pa., she was the daughter of Frank and Stella Filek. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Frank and Stella Filek; brother, Frank Filek Jr.; stepdaughter Margie Row-Brown and husband Lynn A. Row. Surviving are her sister, Barb Mauder of Pittsburgh, Pa.; niece, Beatrice “Bambi” Mauder Friedman of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Glenn Mauder of Pittsburgh, Pa.; stepchildren Thomas Row (Diane) of Bellefonte, Pa., Stephen Row (Marga) of Leesport, Pa., Susan Row-Miller (Dayne) of New Kingstown, Pa.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Bea worked at Community Banks in Millersburg, Pa., as director for the senior partners setting up social events, parties, trips and holiday plans. Bea was a social butterfly at the Masonic Home. She was the young one in her group and enjoyed listening and telling stories from years gone by. Bea helped with the monthly birthday parties, enjoyed crafting and loved to shop in the thrift store. Bea had a strong faith in God, and she and Lynn enjoyed Bible studies together, always working to improve their faith in God. Lynn was a Mason and Bea was a member of Eastern Star. Interment will be at Fort Indiantown Gap, where she will be united with Lynn. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Paid by funeral home
