Barbara Bowman Schorr
CAMP HILL • Barbara Bowman Schorr, 85, of Camp Hill, passed away at her home Friday, July 10, 2020. Born Sept. 8, 1934 in Halifax, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Guy and Goldie (Wolford) Bowman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry “Red” Schorr and siblings, Joan Enders, Rena Burk, Owen Bowman and Carole Bowman. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Kathy Hughes (Carl) and Karen Schorr; two grandchildren, Michael and Jessica, with two great-granddaughters, Raegan and Olivia; sister, Lucille Havens (Charles) of Florida, and her brother, Randy Bowman (Mary) of California; well as several nieces and nephews. She retired from the American Can Co. after 35 years. Barbara enjoyed gardening, working in her yard and playing Bingo. She was a devoted, wife, mother and grandmother; her family was her passion and she was loved by all that were fortunate enough to have known her. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, 1811 Carlisle Rd., Camp Hill PA 17011. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to – Compassus Hospice of Harrisburg or to Alzheimer’s Association. Paid by funeral home
