HALIFAX • Barbara A. Enders, 65, of Halifax, passed away July 7, 2021, at Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing, Harrisburg. She was born Aug. 1, 1955, in Halifax, Pa., the daughter of the late William and Edith (Weiss) Motter. Barbara was married to Ronald E. Enders for 40 years. She was a member of Halifax United Methodist Church and a life member of the Halifax VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was active with Cub Scouts Pack No. 147 and the Halifax Little League and participated in the God’s Handiwork group at the church. She retired as the treasurer from Halifax U.M. Church. She was the owner/operator of the Riverfront Store Baitshop. In the past, she worked for Dauphin Electric, Intershoe Inc., Millersburg; Harman Stove Co., Halifax; Moorefield Communications of Camp Hill; the McDonald’s in Halifax and Elizabethville; and Swab Wagon Co., Elizabethville. She is survived by her husband, Ronald E. Enders of Halifax; son, Mike and his wife Tara of Halifax; son, Robert of Mechanicsburg; son, James and his wife Monica of Halifax; grandchildren, Chris Enders and his wife Kyleen of Elizabethville, Billy, Nate, Allison, Wyatt and Madison Enders all of Halifax; sister, Darla and her husband Rick Lentz of Halifax; and brother, Jeffrey Motter of Halifax. She was preceded in death by brothers, William Motter Jr. and Randy Motter, and a sister, Linda Hetrick. The family will receive friends Friday, July 16, 2021, 9-11 a.m., at Halifax U.M. Church. A Memorial Service will begin at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at the church cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Halifax U.M. Church, 105 Wind Hill Dr., Halifax PA 17032 or to Kindred Hospice, 205 Grandview Ave. No. 304, Camp Hill PA 17011.
