HAMBURG • Arlene F. Mione, 67, of Hamburg, formerly of Tower City, died Wednesday, Feb. 26 at her home. She was born Jan. 15, 1953, in Williams-town, a daughter of the late James and Mildred Shutt Kennedy. She was of the Catholic faith. She was a graduate of Williams Valley High School. Following graduation she entered the Adorers of Blood of Christ Convent, Columbia, Pa., where she was a nun for several years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Kennedy; three sisters, Mary LaMonte, Mildred “Doll” Klinger and Joan Knapp. She is survived by her companion, Earl Bailey, with whom she resided; three children, Julia M. Harris, Treverton, Paul A. Mione, Danville, and Nicholas A. Mione, Mt. Carmel; one brother, Vincent Kennedy, Gettysburg; four grandchildren; three step- grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
