ELIZABETHVILLE • Anthony J. King, age 75, passed away Jan. 5, 2019, at his home. He was born Sept. 4, 1943, in Pillow, son of the late Ralph and Marie Leitzel. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a retired truck driver from ABF trucking and shipping, and also worked in the past for Summers Trucking, Elizabethville. He had membership with the former Elizabethville VFW. He was an avid Penn State football fan and enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy S. (Laudenslager) King at home; two sons, Aaron J. (Kristen) King, Elizabethville, and Alex J. King, Elizabethville; brothers, John (Sue) King, and Samuel (Deb) Leitzel, all of Malta; and two grandchildren, Zane and Rylee. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Donald King. Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes, LTD, Elizabethville, is handling the arrangements.
