Anne "Mary Anne" Wolfe

VALLEY VIEW • Anne “Mary Anne” Wolfe, died Nov. 6 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born Nov. 28, 1940, in Pottsville, a daughter of the late Thomas Bernard and Catherine Duffy O’Reilly. She attended Saint Patrick’s School in Pottsville and was a graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School, Class of 1958, and the Ford School of Business. She was employed in the office of Jacob Boltz Knitting Mills. She was an active member of the Jackson Street and D.H.H. Lengel PTA as well as serving on the board of directors of the Pottsville YWCA. She was a past parishioner of Saint Patrick’s Church, Pottsville; a current member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Lykens, and a past member of the Tri-Valley Lions Club. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard and William O’Reilly. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Delroy; a son, Brian of Ringtown; a daughter, Karen Turbert of Colorado; five grandchildren; two sisters, Kathleen McGowan and Jane O’Reilly; three brothers, Thomas, John and Edward O’Reilly; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial was held Nov. 12 from Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church, Lykens. Burial was private.
