ELIZABETHVILLE • Annabelle Shutt, age 82, of Elizabethville, Pa., passed away peacefully Oct. 20, 2019, at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital. She was born Dec. 11, 1936, in Lavelle, Pa., daughter of the late Rowland Leach and Hazel (Willier) Leach. Annabelle had more than 10 years of employment with PennDot. She enjoyed walking, taking care of her children and traveling with her husband, Terry. Annabelle is survived by her husband of 64 years, Terry Shutt; a son David Shutt (companion Elaine Penner), Carlisle; two daughters, Linda Shaffer (Gary), Duncannon, and Cindy Glessner, Harrisburg; two sisters, Darlene Adams, Pitman, and Polly Green, Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Jacklyn Glessner, Jacob Glessner (Stephanie), Brandy Petrone (Tony), Samantha Stambaugh (Dave) and Loretta Shutt; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Elizabethville. A funeral service will begin at noon. Burial will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery following the funeral. Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd., Elizabethville, is handling the arrangements.
