WINTER HAVEN, Fla. • Stanley Dreibelbis, age 96, formerly of Dalmatia, Pa., passed away peacefully of natural causes April 19 in his home surrounded by family and loving caregivers.
Stanley was born in Dalmatia, Pa., Dec. 22, 1923, son of the late Darwin and Mary (Lenker) Dreibelbis. He was married to Thelma Dreibelbis for 72 years.
He was a member of Zion Stone Valley Church in Dalmatia and attended Westwood Missionary Baptist Church in Winter Haven, Fla. He was also a charter member of the Hickory Corners Fire Co. He was Lower Mahoney Twp. road master before he retired.
Stanley loved playing shuffleboard and cards, fishing, doing jigsaw puzzles and search-a-word and watching TV. He also loved being with family and friends.
Survivors include a son Stephen Dreibelbis (Cindy) of Winter Haven, Fla., and sister, Gladys Dockey of New York; step-grandson, Kenneth Snyder (Jenna) of Harrisburg, Pa., and step-granddaughter Amber Gladitsch (Travis) of Elizabethville, PA; and four step-great-grandchildren, Ayden, Destiny, Leland and Cannon.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Raymond and Ernest Dreibelbis and sister Elaine Kulp.
In lieu of flowers, consider donating to Hickory Corners Fire Co. at 1124 Hickory Rd., Dalmatia PA 17017, or Westwood Missionary Baptist Church, 3210 Avenue G, NW, Winter Haven, FL 33880.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date, and he will be buried in Zion Stone Valley Church cemetery.
