MILLERSBURG • Ruth Romaine Raker, 91, entered her Heavenly home Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, at UPMC Pinnacle Osteopathic. She was born April 14, 1929, the daughter of the late Leroy and Florence (Stoneroad) Leitzel. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Harvey Grant Raker, a son Donald Raker and a sister Doris Boyer. She is survived by daughters Carol Miller (Duane), Shirley Troutman (David), Dianna Simpkins (Jason), sons Ronald Raker (Theresa), Richard Raker, Steven Raker, daughter-in-law Patricia Raker, sisters Grace Straub, Faye Wolfgang (Daniel), Janet Shaffer, grandchildren Marcia Adams, Richelle Bohner (David), Rhonda Tobin, Rachael Pensyl, Renee Grave (Isaac), Max Miller, Andrew Raker, Joseph Raker, Mark Simpkins (Tara), Daniel Raker, Megan Simpkins, Philip Raker (Rachel), 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Killinger. Family gatherings and playing cards were among her favorite activities. She also looked forward to daily phone calls from family and friends and the weekly living room concerts of hymns played for her on the piano. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery Association. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd, Milllersburg, is handling the arrangements. Please sign the register book at minnich funeral.com Paid by funeral home
