TOWER CITY • Rodney W. Fetterhoff, Sr., 64, of Tower City, passed away Monday, Nov. 18 at his home with his wife by his side. He was born in Pottsville, Aug. 17, 1955, a son of the late Rowland and Dorothy Laing Fetterhoff. Rod was employed by Ash Industries, where he was a heavy equipment operator. He was of the Protestant faith; and a member of Brookside Hunting Club. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, especially when he was hunting and fishing. He looked forward to having coffee with his friends every morning. If a joke was to be told or a prank to be pulled, you had to look no further the Rod. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly Lubold Fetterhoff, 2013; and a sister, Christine Harner, 2019. Surviving are his wife, Carole T. Lavoie Fetterhoff; four sons: Rodney Jr., (Renee); Robert (Virginia); Michael (Justine) all of Tower City; and Jason (Bridget), Lykens; a stepson, Nathan Bach (Kristen), Tower City; two sisters, Sandy Bender and Terri Fetterhoff, both of Muir; his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Isabelle, Lakota, Adriena, Olivia, Lane, Jamey, Kace and Ryker; and several nieces and nephews.
