MILLERSBURG • Rena E. Wert, age 93, passed away Feb. 28, 2020. She was born Feb. 4, 1927, in Wiconisco, daughter of the late Wilson E. and Mary Etta (Kerstetter) Lupold. She was the widow of Richard F. Wert. She was a retired office manager for the Dauphin County District Justice office. She was a member of David’s Community Bible Church, Millersburg. She is survived by two sons, Robert and his wife Janice of Halifax, and Scott of Millersburg; two daughters Deb Scheib and her husband Tom of Elizabethville, and Jill Shadle and her husband Bill of Collierville, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd, Millersburg, Thursday, March 5, 2020, at 1 p.m. and will be officiated by Rev. Allan Briggs. Burial will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg. Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd., Millersburg, is handling the arrangements.
