LYKENS • Jeffery L. Jones, 61, of Lykens, went to be with the Lord Nov. 9, 2018, at 1:30 p.m., with his family and beloved pet by his side.
He was born in Harrisburg, May 5, 1957, and was a resident of Hershey, Pa., and Elizabethville, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his mother, MaryJane Curry-Jones; and his father, Garfield Jones.
Surviving are his loving wife, Marylue Cosey-Jones; three daughters: Jody Smith and husband George Smith of Camp Hill, Pa., and their children, Cameron and Paxton Smith; Kellie McCollum of Middletown, Pa., and her son, Tyler Donbaugh; Kimberly Zimmerman of Lykens, Pa., and her children, Samantha Stevens-Yerger and Andrew Stevens and her grandchildren, Dalton and Wyatt Yerger; his sister, Kathy Smith and husband Dennis Smith of Elizabethtown, Pa., and their children, Joshua Smith of Grain Valley, Mo. and his sons, Lincoln and Everett Smith; and Caroline Potts and husband Justin Potts of Bethlehem, Pa., and their children, Quinn and Kennedy Potts.
He was a member of the Lykens Valley Lions Club; a member of the Lykens Valley Roamers Camping Club; and a member of FCRV Camping Club. He was an avid fan of Penn State football and a member of Good Sam’s Camping Club. Among his many interests, his greatest joys were his family, his dog Tinkerbell, his many friends and camping, cooking out and spending time in Florida. His life’s work was in the construction industry and as a caregiver for the disabled.
A Celebration of his Life was held Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, at Grace United Methodist Church, Millersburg, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be accepted for Hospice of All Seasons.
