MECHANICSBURG • Glenn H. Falck, 79, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019, at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, Pa. Born on April 18, 1940, in Danville, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry D. and Grace S. (Herb) Falck. Glenn was a 1957 graduate of Mahanoy Joint High School in Dalmatia, Pa. He went on to receive his degree in engineering from Williamsport Area Community College. Glenn was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1959-1961. He was a product engineer and employed with Sprout Waldron in Muncy, Pa., beginning in 1965. He then moved on to PMF Industries in Williamsport from which he retired. While Glenn lived in Montgomery, Pa., he was a very active member of St. John’s Lutheran “Brick” Church, serving in leadership positions on many committees including the St John’s Cemetery Association. He served in the community as a Boy Scout leader and as an officer on the school board of the Montgomery Area School District for many years. He was a current member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Camp Hill. Glenn enjoyed spending his time at the family cabin and was an avid outdoorsman and member of the Tiadaghton Gun Club. Glenn is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jane R. (Rebuck) Falck of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; a daughter, Cindy F. Klus and her husband Brandon of Gainesville, Va.; a son, Brian G. Falck and his wife Kelly of Dillsburg, Pa.; two brothers, Charles Falck and his wife Dolores of Brookville, Md., and Larry Falck and his wife Susana of Muncy, Pa.; two sisters, Ruthann Artz of Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Jean Runkle and her husband Ernest of Montgomery, Pa.; five grandchildren: Erin G. Klus, Tyler S. Klus, Olivia G. Falck, Ella I. Falck and Avary J. Falck; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Deiter; and two brothers-in-law, Russell Deiter and Franklin “Doc” Artz. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut St., Camp Hill, Pa., with Pastor John H. Brock officiating with luncheon to follow. A visitation will be held in the church Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
