Sealed proposals for Contract No. 2020-01: Callowhill and Vineyard Street Water Line Replacement will be received online by the Elizabethville Area Authority until 2:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at which time all bids will be opened electronically and publicly posted on PennBid’s website. The Contract consists of the installation of approximately 1,650 L.F. of 8” water line, service lines, appurtenances, and related work. Work under this contract shall include all materials, equipment, supplies, and labor for the construction as shown and specified in the Contract Documents. The Project is located in Elizabethville Borough, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
This project is being financed in part by a grant from a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) administered by Dauphin County Department of Community and Economic Development Office and as such, the obligations imposed on the Owner by the financing agency(s) shall apply to and be acceptable to the successful bidder(s) and contractors assigned to the project.
Contractors will be required to use their best efforts to afford small businesses, minority and women’s business enterprises the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in the performance of this contract. The bidders must submit documentary evidence of Section 3 Business Concerns and Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) who have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made in their bidding process. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted concurrently with the bid.
