Daghir, Esq. 3-9-10,1t NOTICE Bid for Water Line Replacement Sealed bids will be received by Millersburg Area Authority at the Municipal Building, 101 West Street, Millersburg PA until 8 p.m. prevailing time on April 5, 2010 for furnishing labor, equipment and materials for the installation of approximately 560 lineal feet of 8" ductile iron water main, 750 lineal feet of 6" ductile iron water main, 2 fire hydrants and 22 water service lines. The 8" pipe installation includes an 18" diameter 58' bore at a railroad crossing. The project also includes the replacement of 80 lineal feet of 20" storm sewer pipe, installation of 2 manholes, 62 lineal feet of 20" ductile iron pipe and 50 lineal feet of 30" diameter steel casing pipe installed by boring at a railroad crossing. The Contractor will be required to comply with the Prevailing Wage Determination as promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor and Industry in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, and to comply with State Statutes, Rules and Regulations dealing with prevention of environment pollution and the preservation of public and natural resources that affect the project per Act 247 of the General Assembly approved October 26, 1972.
