BID NOTICE

The Supervisors of Jefferson Township, Dauphin County are accepting sealed bids for Furnished and in Place total of approximately .7 mi. of paving (approx. 650 TONS);   Paving locations are four separate areas on three different roads: T559 Hemlock Rd, T540 White Oak Rd., and T534 Carsonville Rd.

All bids must comply with the Pennsylvania DOT publication 408. Bids must be in sealed envelope clearly marked "Paving Bid." All bids must be received by 5:00 p.m., May 18, 2017. ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed proposals for Contract No. 2017-01: North Street and Lyter Street Water Line Replacement will be received online by the Elizabethville Area Authority; until 2:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Authority’s office located at 4154 North Route 225, Elizabethville, PA 17023.  Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted.

The Contract consists of the installation of approximately 1,070 L.F. of 8” water line, service lines, appurtenances, and related work.  Work under this contract shall include all materials, equipment, supplies, and labor for the construction as shown and specified in the Contract Documents.  The Project is located in Elizabethville Borough, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

Sealed bids shall be submitted electronically via the PennBid Program.  All documents and solicitation details are available online at no cost at PennBid - www.ebidexchange.com/ pennbid. Questions and inquiries should be addressed through PennBid’s “Question” tab.

This project is being funded by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds administered by Dauphin County Department of Community and Economic Development Office and as such, the regulations governing this program are applicable.  Contractors will be required to use their best efforts to afford small businesses, minority and women’s business enterprises the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in the performance of this contract. The bidders must submit documentary evidence of Section 3 Business Concerns and Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) who have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made in their bidding process. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted concurrently with the bid.

PAVING BID NOTICE
