NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Joint Comprehensive Plan Committee from Middle Paxton Township and Dauphin Borough will hold a public meeting to review the ongoing development of the 2015 Comprehensive Plan.  This will be the second public meeting held to discuss the progress of the Committee meetings and to receive public comments.

The location of the meeting is the Middle Paxton Township Community Room, 10 Elizabeth Avenue on May 21, 2015 at 6:00 PM.   

The purpose of the meeting is to allow input into the planning of the Comprehensive Plan from the residents of Middle Paxton Township and Dauphin Borough.  The meeting is also an opportunity to meet with the Committee Representatives and planning consultants to contribute ideas about the recommended steps in moving forward with activities within the Municipalities.

The Supervisors of Jefferson Township, Dauphin County are accepting sealed bids for the following:

(Item #1) Furnished and put in place on Carsonville Road., approximately 24,913 sq. yd. Single Bituminous Seal Coat.

All work must be in accordance with PennDOT 408 using RS-2PM (E-2M) or CRS-2PM (E3M) and washed #8s meeting 1.0% wash. All work must be completed by September 1, 2015.

Bids must be in sealed envelope clearly marked "Seal Coat Bid." All bids must be received by 7:00 p.m., Thursday June 4, 2015. Final Budget Notice and Capita Tax Notice

NOTICE is given that the Proposed Final Budget for the General Fund of Upper Dauphin Area School District for the 2015-2016 fiscal year in its most recent form is available for public inspection at the school district offices, 5668 State Route 209, Lykens, Pennsylvania, and will be presented for adoption as a Final Budget a a school board meeting to be held in the Board Room of the Upper Dauphin Area School Administration Office, 5668 State Route 209, Lykens, Pennsylvania, at 7 p.m on June 11, 2015. The budget may be amended before final adoption.

NOTICE is also hereby given that persons eighteen (18) years of age or over who become residents or inhabitants of this school district and persons attaining the age of eighteen (18) years while a resident or inhabitant of this school district are required by law within twelve (12) months thereafter to notify Upper Dauphin Area School District Business Manager, Mary K. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Upper Dauphin Council of Governments Joint Board of Appeals will conduct a public hearing on May 27, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. prevailing time at the Halifax Township Municipal Building, 102 Fisher Street, Halifax, Pennsylvania 17032 to consider and take testimony with respect to an Application for Review filed by Sterman Masser, Inc.  and property owner Masser & Ballay Farms, LP.  The appeal seeks a review and reversal of a decision of the Halifax Township Building Code Officer with regard to an application for an agricultural building exemption for the property at 1400 Armstrong Valley Road, Halifax, Pennsylvania 17032.
