NOTICE TO RESIDENTS OF MIFFLIN TOWNSHIP
At a regular meeting of the Mifflin Township Board of Supervisors, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, to be held at the Municipal Township Building on November 7, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. D.S.T., the Board of Supervisors of Mifflin Township will enact an Ordinance of which this Notice is a summary.
The proposed Ordinance establishes a 25 miles per hour speed limit for motor vehicles on Deibler’s Gap Road within the Township of Mifflin. The current speed limit is 55 miles per hour. Reduction of the speed limit on Deiblers Gap Road in the Township of Mifflin is to promote the safety of the general public.

LYKENS BOROUGH AUTHORITY WICONISCO CREEK INTERCEPTOR LINING PROJECT
LYKENS BOROUGH AUTHORITY will receive sealed proposals online via PennBid for the WICONISCO CREEK INTERCEPTOR LINING project in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid Program until 1:00 P.M., prevailing time, November 30, 2016. Bids will be opened and read aloud shortly thereafter at the Lykens Borough Authority, 200 Main Street, Lykens, PA 17048, Dauphin County.
The Work includes lining of approximately 2,875 feet of a 12" terra cotta pipe (TCP) and lining the
manholes along the interceptor, as shown in the Exhibit and described in the Contract Documents. The project is located in Lykens Borough, Dauphin County.
Notice is given that the WICONISCO CREEK INTERCEPTOR LINING project was financed in part by a grant from the Dauphin County Commissioners.

The non-coal surface mining site (SMP #6174SM5A2C8) associated with the NPDES renewal application is located on the west side of S.R. 225 directly across from Meckley’s Limestone Products, Inc’s East Quarry in Lower Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County. The Pillow, PA U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute topographical map contains the area described, at latitude 40 degrees, 40 minutes, 28.9 seconds and longitude 76 degrees, 50 minutes, 5.6 seconds.

BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the Borough Council of the Borough of Lykens, that a tax be levied on all real property within the Borough of Lykens subject to taxation for the fiscal year of 2017 as follows:
Tax rate for general purposes, the sum of 4.42 mills on each dollar of assessed valuation and has re-enacted all taxes previously imposed without substantial change.
