GRATZ AREA PARK, RESTROOMS
GRATZ, PENNSYLVANIA

Gratz Borough will accept sealed Bids for the Gratz Area Park, Restrooms Project until 2:00 P.M. prevailing local time on May 11, 2016.  Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on May 11, 2016 at approximately 6:30 P.M. at the Gratz Borough Office Building, 125 N. Center Street, Gratz, PA 17030.

All Bids are to be submitted on the Bid Forms included in the Contract Documents.

Copies of the bid documents are on file and open to public review and may be obtained at the offices of Light-Heigel & Associates, Inc., 430 E Main Street, Palmyra PA 17078, becoming available on April 20, 2016. Hard copy bid specifications are $20 and CD copies are $5 payable to Gratz Borough, copies may also be obtained via email at no charge via phone request at 717-838-1351.  If requested the documents can be mailed first class at an additional cost of $20.  Payment must be received by Light-Heigel before the documents are mailed.

No pre-bid meeting will be held. Questions and requests for information may be made by email to Joshua Eisenhauer at joshe@light-heigel.com.

A certified check or Bid Bond payable to or naming as Obligee Gratz Borough in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid must be submitted with the Bid as a guarantee that in the case the Contract is awarded the successful Bidder will execute the Contract and furnish all Bonds as may be required.

The Bid for the Work must be sealed in an envelope and addressed to:

The Bid envelope must be sealed and clearly marked, “Gratz Area Park, Restrooms Project,” and must also bear the name and address of the Bidder.  Two copies of the Bids shall be provided, one (1) original and one (1) copy.

This contract is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987 No. 442, as amended and supplemented, and appropriate minimum wage rates must be paid by the contractor for performance of all necessary work.  The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap.  The contractor shall also comply with Act 127 of 2012.

Gratz Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality or bidding irregularities, to delete or reduce any Bid Item, and to award the Contract as may be deemed by Gratz Borough Council to be in their best interest.

No Bidder may withdraw his or her Bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof.

This Project is financed in part by a Grant from the Dauphin County Commissioners.

INVITATION FOR BIDS

Dauphin Borough will receive bids for a road and paving project in the Borough of Dauphin until 2:00 p.m., prevailing time on May 3, 2016, at 430 East Main Street, Palmyra, PA  17078.  All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the regularly scheduled meeting on May 3, 2016 at the Dauphin Borough building, 200 Church Street, Dauphin, PA.

No refund will be made for returned documents. Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those persons whose name and address are on record with the owner as having obtained the Contract Documents. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Dauphin Borough, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement

Notice is hereby given that the Supervisors of Wayne Township, Dauphin County, intend to adopt as an Ordinance authorizing the Township to enter into an intergovernmental cooperation agreement with other municipalities for the purpose of establishing one joint emergency operations plan for the participating municipalities. ID2 scratch and leveling courses as needed and directed Wearing SRL/Any 1 1/2” Overlay (ADT-100) applied as per PennDOT Specs 408.
