BID NOTICE

The Upper Dauphin Area School District invites bids for its Video Surveillance System Replacement Rebid Project. Bids will be received until 12:00 p.m. prevailing time on March 13, 2017 in the Upper Dauphin Area School District Administration Office (same address). Bids will be publicly opened and read at that time. Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Upper Dauphin Area School District and be clearly marked: RFB 1617-02 Video Surveillance System Replacement Rebid.

The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids or to accept the bid that it finds in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the school district.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk through will be held at the Upper Dauphin Area School District Administration Office at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

Sealed proposals will be received by Middle Paxton Township Board of Supervisors in their office at 10 Elizabeth Ave., Dauphin, PA, 17018 until 2:30 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2017 for the following roadway asphalt paving and sealing work for three projects: 

• Frog Hollow Road –9.5 mm overlay (in-place) with leveling course with Alternate Bid for bituminous seal coat and high-polymerized asphalt emulsion fog seal;

• McKelvey Road - 9.5 mm overlay (in-place) with leveling course;

• Heckton Road - 9.5 mm overlay (in-place) with leveling course.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017, 2:30 pm, at the Township Building.  Attendance is not required.

Bid documents may be examined at the Township office between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Bidders will be required to provide bid security in the amount of 10% of the proposal.  A bank check or bid bond will be accepted.

Contract to use prevailing wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry.  These rates must be paid by the contractor.  Employees shall not be discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex, or national origin.

All proposals must be upon the form furnished by the Township.  Bids will be opened and read publicly at 2:30 p.m., on Monday, March 6, 2017.  Middle Paxton Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

NOTICE FOR PROPOSALS

The Millersburg Area School District is requesting proposals for contracted student transportation services. RFP documents can be requested by email to artzc@mlbgsd.k12.pa.us or by calling 717-692-2108 ext. 3160.

All interested contractors must attend a mandatory meeting on March 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. All proposals must be received no later than 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2017, at which time they will be publicly opened. All proposals should be delivered in a sealed envelope and should be addressed to the Millersburg Area School District, Attn: Cathy S. Artz, and clearly marked “Transportation RFP.” Electronic submissions will not be accepted.
